What we do

Conditions assisted by Rehabilitation Medicine include:

Neurological conditions

Rehabilitation following stroke or Multiple sclerosis diagnosis is essential in order to regain as full a range of abilities as possible.

Cognitive Impairment

Struggling with daily tasks can be very difficult. Rehabilitation may enhance your cognitive abilities and improve your quality of life.

Traumatic Brain Injury

Rehabilitation following traumatic brain injury is a particular area of interest for Dr Jo Braid.

Musculoskeletal Conditions

Including osteoporosis, arthritis and joint replacements.  Rehabilitation aids people who have become deconditioned after a hospital stay, surgery or period of immobility.

Driving Assessment

In addition to rehabilitation, Driving Assessments are available.

Falls & fractures

Rehabilitation programs post hip or knee replacements and other orthopaedic surgery including fractures.

We bill through Medicare for all Rehabilitation Medicine consultations.

In order to qualify for a Medicare rebate, a GP referral is essential (valid 12 months).
